Historical Path
Our first establishment opened in 2009 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and it immediately became a hit. The unique multi-bar concept and the environment of close communication attracted residents and tourists, combining cosmopolitan urban culture with the spirit of celebration. The creators’ vision quickly caught on.
After the resounding triumph of the first establishment, several new successful venues have opened their doors over the last few years in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, and the UAE.
Of course, each of these remarkable places shares our now signature multi-bar concept.
Significant Milestone
One of our significant milestones was the opening of Bla Bla Bar Astana in 2014, located in the Abu Dhabi Plaza - the tallest building in Central Asia and a remarkable development project by Aldar Properties.
The complex also houses Marriott’s 5-star Sheraton Astana Hotel. And Bla Bla Bar has quickly become a beloved destination for hotel guests from all over the world, providing a memorable and enjoyable experience.
Project Founders
Bla Bla Bar’s inception is the result of the synergy between two remarkable entrepreneurs:
- Igor Kusnezov, the German businessman, the owner of a substantial chain of fashion retail brands and investment holder in commercial real estate across Kazakhstan.
- Rauan Rustemov, a seasoned professional in the bar industry and a visionary restaurateur with two decades of experience gained from managing top-tier establishments in Moscow.
This engaged partnership brought together their diverse expertise and an exceptional team to craft a series of outstanding social spaces that create a new image of celebration.

Project in Dubai
Bla Bla Dubai stands as our pioneering project on the path to global expansion. Opened its doors in 2021 it is located on the scenic JBR coast. This vast venue features 21 individual bars, three unique restaurants, and a stunning Ibiza-style beach club with views of Bluewaters and Ain Dubai.
From the idea to the opening stage, we dedicated our all. But amid the reconfiguration of our co-investor framework, our project found a new group of enthusiastic owners, and management transitioned to their team. Legal rights to the Bla Bla Bar trademark in the UAE remain with our chain.
Our multi-bar concept entirely merged into vivid entertainment landscape of cosmopolitan Dubai. We received proof of the foreign success of our vision and more confidence in further expansion.
Expanding Horizons
With 15 years of experience, our project continues to develop and achieve exceptional success. Bla Bla Bar is now turning a new page in its history, and we plan to expand globally and bring an exciting new dimension of entertainment to the world’s largest cosmopolitan cities.
